One
of the most popular casino games in the world is a
form of poker called Hold em. We generally hear it
called…TEXAS HOLD EM POKER.
There
are different variations of Texas Hold em
Game with 3 different types of betting.
The following will teach you How to Play
Texas Hold Em.
• Limit – There is
a specific betting limit for each game played and
each round. For example a $.25/$.50 has a $.25 Blind,
the first round of betting and raises is $.25 and
the subsequent rounds are upped to $.50 bets.
• Pot Limit – Players
can bet a maximum, equal to the total pot at the
time of their bet.
• No Limit – Players
can bet as much as they have on the table at the
time of the bet.
Here's how the Texas Hold'em is played:
1. The 2 players left of the dealer
place a 'Small Blind' and 'Big Blind' ***, which
for a $.50/$1.00 game would be $.25 and $.50 respectively.
2. Once the bets are placed the
2 cards are dealt to the players face down.
3. Then comes a round of betting.
4. Once the bets are placed, the
dealer turns 3 cards over and places them in the
middle of the table for all players to share. These
cards are called 'The Flop'.
5. Then comes another round of
betting.
6. the dealer then turns a 4th
card over and is placed face up in the middle.
7. Then comes another round of
betting.
8. The last card is then turned
over and placed in the middle of the table. This
card is called 'The River’ .
9. There is the final round of
betting.
